Two weeks ago New Times reported on the controversy surrounding Rise Academy, a Florida City charter school shut down after only two years in existence despite a dramatic “F” to “A” turnaround.

Today the Herald followed suit, turning their copy just in time for this morning’s appeal hearing.

Today’s Appeal Commission hearing will be held at 11 a.m. at Miami
Dade College North Campus, Room A-102, Science Building, 11380 Northwest
27th Avenue.
