Independent Journalism in Miami Needs You
We need to raise $10,000 by August 9 to support the reporting our community depends on. Reader support keeps us independent and is playing a larger role in funding local journalism and shaping what comes next. If you believe independent local journalism matters, make a contribution today.
Continuing what’s become something of a tradition, the Miami Dolphins cheerleaders are back lip synching for their lives, and this time they really, really, really wanna zigga-zag-ah.
Yes, even though its the middle of spring 2014, the ladies have already shot their 2015 calendar at a resort in the Dominican Republic (because clearly there’s no areas in Miami-Dade suitable for bikini photo shoots) and have released their annual lip dub to promote it.
This year the girls couldn’t settle on just one song and instead did a DJ Earworm mashup of Mariah Carey’s “Fantasy,” the Spice Girls’ “Wannabe,” The Beach Boys’ “Good Vibrations,” and Calvin Harris’ “Summer.”
The cheerleaders first started the tradition in 2012 with a lip dub of inescapable “Call Me Maybe.” That version proved so popular it was even remade by troops serving in Afghanistan.
Last year the girl’s took on Taylor Swfit’s “22.”
We’re struggling here to find “added value” to this post, because, well it’s basically a video of women bouncing around in bathing suits who are all rather attractive. So a “top ten hottest cheerleaders” list would be difficult. The bathing suits are of course are as hideous as they are small, but that’s really beyond the point, so no ten worst bikinis either. Whatever, just enjoy it.
