A young man in his 20s visiting Miami for Memorial Day weekend fell to his death off the MacArthur Causeway this morning.
Police say he was in a car with two friends driving toward Miami Beach when they pulled over to the shoulder, possibly to take pictures. That's when he decided to jump. Local 10 reports he jumped on a dare. Though according to NBCMiami, it's also possible he accidentally fell. The drop was about 60 to 70 feet.
The man is believed to have been from the Orlando area, and his identity is being with held until his family is notified. Police are questioning his two friends.
