It’s the Friday before a three-day weekend, and you’re either toiling away at your computer trying to compensate for the workday you’re gonna miss next week, or you’re surfing the web, planning your weekend. Thought so…..just in case you didn’t find anything on our calendar that grabs your eye, here are a couple more nightspots that will be jumping this weekend.

If you like partying with models and richer-than-thou tourists kick off your holiday weekend tonight at the super-chic Mokai at 235 23rd St., Miami Beach. And if you like your models half naked and heavy on top, take a ride up I-95 because Penthouse Magazine is hosting a party at the Gryphon Club .

Saturday, September 1 at The Penthouse, 1434 Collins Ave., Miami Beach, find yourself at the flyest BBQ on the Beach. No cover, drink specials, jacuzzi, tunes by DJ Vega; what more could you want on a lazy weekend afternoon? And after you’ve gotten your fill of the free grub and swimsuit fashion show go home and get freshened up for a night of “Steppin in the Name of Love.” Learn how to do the Chi-Town Step or get on the floor and show ‘em how it’s done. Either way, show up at the Bahia Mar Resort for A Seaside Soiree at 801 Sea Breeze, Ft. Lauderdale, with your $25 in hand.

And if you’re looking for something a little naughty, Ft. Lauderdale is coming to your rescue again. But this time it’s a Playboy Playmate. The September 2007 bunny, Patrice Hollis, will be at Spirits Nightclub at 5729 Seminole Way, Hollywood, signing magazines, and undoubtedly showing off her ta-tas somehow.

Once Sunday rolls around, your body-clock is going to be yelling “Wind down, work tomorrow!” Well today you can tell it to shut the hell up, because you have plenty of things to do tonight and packing your lunch isn’t one of them. Tonight at Set, located at 320 Lincoln Rd., Miami Beach, is Sundance. They call it “a celebration of life,” we call it a celebration of a day off.

And at the Oxygen Lounge in Coconut Grove at 2911 Grand Ave., is Fantasy. If you mention Rob G’s list at the door, you can get in free before midnight. We don’t know about you, but that sure sounds like our fantasy. And the spot where the party is sure to be rockin' all night long courtesy of some substance or another is the Pawn Shop Lounge at 1222 NE 2nd Ave., Miami. The club has invited West Coast house music pioneer DJ Donald Glaude to rock the turntables alll niight loong!
