Somewhere in Miami there's a masseur named Jeff. If you run into him, buy the poor bastard a drink or an appetizer or something -- he's been through enough already. Jeff was just trying to give John Travolta a massage at the Eden Roc when Mr. Saturday Night Fever grabbed his hand and forced him to touch his scrotum while he jerked off -- and then left a measly $20 tip.
So says Jeff, at least, who is withholding his last name but has joined a federal lawsuit by three other masseurs all claiming Travolta abused them during rub-downs.
Jeff, whose claims were first reported in the New York Daily News, came to attorney Okorie Okorocha after reading about the two other John Does who filed suit against Travolta two weeks ago.
"Hearing about all the cases now, I regret not saying something sooner," Jeff tells the Daily News.
Here's what he says went down: While working at the Eden Roc back in 2000, the now 46-year-old gave Travolta a massage.
The actor soon grabbed his hand and forced him to rub his inner thighs, he says, at one point forcing him to touch his scrotum. Jeff pulled away, but Travolta persisted.
"I started working on his other leg, and it all started back up again. He started putting his butt up in the air," he tells the Daily News. "I was just trying to do whatever I could to distract him, but he started getting aggressive and grabbed my hand again."
By the end of the session, Travolta was openly masturbating, Jeff claims, and told him, "It's OK ... no one's going to know."
The Miami masseur's claims are similar to those aired in court by the three other men, all anonymous. (The original two plaintiffs have pulled out of Okorocha's suit but intend to file a new case with celebrity attorney Gloria Alred.)
Travolta hasn't addressed Jeff's claims, but as to the earlier suit, his rep called the accusations "complete fiction and fabrication."
