John Mathew Juan Killed His Father After He Wouldn't Let Him Borrow His Car

John Mathew Juan, 22, sits behind bars today after allegedly killing his own dad early Sunday morning. The 65-year-old father, John Juan Sr., had apparently angered his son because he wouldn't let him borrow his car. 



According to CBSMiami, the incident happened Sunday around 3 a.m. at the father's home in the 5000 block of SW 152nd Terrace. 

The son asked to borrow's his dad's vehicle. Though the father let the son into his home, he refused to hand over the keys. The two began arguing, and Juan Jr. pulled out a gun and shot him. 

The elder Juan took multiple bullets to his arms and head, and died on the scene. 

Juan Jr. admitted to the killing and is being held without bond. He faces charges of second-degree murder.
