You know what happens when it is a slow news day and particularly hot? We write posts about how hot it is. 

According to CBS4, today’s temperature of 95 degrees tied the all-time high for any July 7. It hasn’t been this hot since 2004. 

Yesterday’s mercury reading of 95 also tied the all-time high for July 6. 

Sadly, the price for an immediate flight to Reykjavik, Iceland, where the high is 57 degrees, starts around $1,300.
