There’s not that much to do over in Naples, Florida, so recording rain pouring down over your lanai seems like a fun idea. That’s what Rita Krill was doing recently when all the sudden the vengeful weather Gods sent a fireball of lightning down into her yard.
“It was about 100 feet from my yard,” Krill told Good Morning America. “I was out there videoing it. My puppy was out there. She usually doesn’t flinch too much at storms. She’s used to it. And then, boom, the lighting struck and you could obviously hear my reaction.”
OK, what you see in the video isn’t actually a fireball. The lightning struck lighting used to illuminate trees in her neighbors yard, which caused the explosion of electrical sparks.
