The Miami Herald’s executive editor Anders Gyllenhaal has been appointed head of the Pulitzer Prize Board.
Here is your obvious joke: How is a man whose reign as head of the paper has been marked with a noticeable decline in quality supposed to head a board that judges the quality of other papers? I mean, Jeez, did you see Glenn Garvin’s column on Monday?
