George Zimmerman's wife, Shellie Zimmerman, now finds herself behind bars in the same facility where her husband is being held on second-degree murder charges. Seminole County Sheriff's deputies arrested her this afternoon on a single perjury charge. The charge stems from accusations that the Zimmermans lied to the court during a bond hearing.

Prosecutors contended that both George and Shellie lied about their financial situation during George's initial bond hearing. In particular, prosecutors say Shellie, who is 25, tried to conceal  from the court about $135,000 that her husband had collected from online supporters.

She was arrested at her residence in Stanford, Florida, today around 3:30 p.m.

George Zimmerman also failed to acknowledge that he had a second passport. For that, his bond was revoked and he was ordered back to jail.

Shellie Zimmerman is being held on $1,000 bond in Sanford's John E. Polk Correctional Facility, the same facility as her husband. According to the Orlando Sentinel, she is in the process of posting that bond.

George Zimmerman is awaiting trail on second-degree murder charges after he killed unarmed Miami Gardens teenager Trayvon Martin during a confrontation in the gated community where the girlfriend of Martin's father lives. Zimmerman claims he shot Martin in self-defense.
