A 4-year-old boy took a tumble of a lifetime off a 17th floor balcony in downtown Miami this morning and miraculously managed to survive. The child was playing on the balcony of his home at Grand Apartments at the Doubletree Grand Hotel off Biscayne Blvd. when he fell through the railing and faced a seven foot drop down to the 10th floor where the building's pool deck is located.

Most of the deck is covered in concrete and would have almost certainly meant doom or serious injury. Luckily, according to WSVN, the boy hit the top of a palm tree first, bounced into another tree and then hit the dirt below and managed to survive the seven story free fall.

Amazingly he should be fine, but was transported to Jackson Memorial Hospital.
