A Florida teenager is recovering after accidentally shooting himself in the dick. Obviously, all of Florida is hoping and praying that this genius will recover and one day be able to procreate.
The incident happened early Thursday morning in Port St. Lucie. Police arrived at the local hospital to check out reports of the groin gunshot. The 18-year-old originally told police that he was walking home when someone randomly shot at him and hit him the groin. After more questioning, he told the real story.
The teen had been cleaning the gun at a friend’s house when he somehow accidentally shot himself. According to WPTV, the bullet struck the man’s genitals and then lodged into his thigh.
He had the friend drive him to the hospital.
Obviously, the teen went through legal channel to obtain his gun, right? Nope. He says he bought it from somebody at a party more than a month ago. The gun in question was a .357 Magnum revolver.
Police will not charge the teen with any crimes, but they did go to his home to retrieve the gun. There they also found a small amount marijuana and arrested the home’s owner, 32-year-old Joseph Lamar James.
