When Jennifer Ann Lee, 29, was found passed out behind the wheel at an intersection in Bradenton, Florida, she told a police officer: “It happens.” Well, yeah, when you’ve been huffing whippets all day, all sorts of crazy things happen.
A passerby noticed the woman unconscious at an intersection on U.S. 41 and also saw Lee’s 1-year-old boy asleep in the back seat, according to the Bradenton Herald. The Good Samaritan drove the car off the street and called one of Lee’s friends.
The friend then called police and reported he had seen Lee doing whippets earlier in the day.
When officers arrived, they found several whippet canisters scattered along the car floor at Lee’s feet and another in her seat. A search turned up 20 more canisters.
