Four Chihuahuas worth $900 each and a Shih Tzu worth $400 were puppy napped, according to NBC Miami.

"This is done for quick cash and nothing else," owner Jesus Canoura told the new station. He believes the dogs will be sold on the street, and worries they may not find good homes.

This isn't the first time criminal have turned Canoura's Puppy Dream into a nightmare. Back in 2009 two woman snatched four Chihuahuas and two Yorkies from the store, and dragged an employee from their get away car for a block.

No suspect has been fingered yet. Noted small dog collector Paris Hilton was in Dubai and the Philippians this weekend, so we can at least cross one name off the list.
