Ever since news hit yesterday that Dwyane Wade fathered a child with a mystery woman, the internet has been dabbling in amateur detective work trying to figure out who the lady is. Well, TMZ Sports reports the woman is 30-year-old Aja Metoyer, who also happens to have two kids with Damon Wayans Jr., a cast member on Happy Endings and New Girl.

TMZ reports that while Metoyer didn't list Wade (or anyone else for that matter) as the father on the birth certificate, she did give the child Wade's last name. The baby boy was christened Xavier Zechariah Wade. He was born November 10 and lives in Los Angeles with Metoyer.

"Dwyane has been making a serious effort to be a part of the child's life and has visited Xavier several times since his birth," reports the site. "Most recently, Dwyane visited his son while he was in L.A. to play the Lakers on Christmas Day."

Wade confirmed the rumors last night during a news conference.

"I've always tried to show my importance in my kids' lives, and it doesn't change now," he said. "So, me and my lady [Gabrielle Union] and my family have continued to move forward, and I think that's evident with the ring and the proposal that I gave her with our lives. But, yeah, I had a time apart in our break, in our pain and our hurt, a blessing came out of it in my life, having a son that was born healthy. So I'm moving on."
