It was looking for a while like no Dolphins players would be playing in their home stadium during this year's Pro Bowl. Offensive Tackle Jake Long was named to the original line-up but pulled out due to injury

Thanks to yesterday's Colts win, safety Antoine Bethea will forgo the Pro Bowl for preparation for the Big Game, and the Fins' Yeremiah Bell has been added to the roster.

Bell led the Fins in tackles this season and was second in interceptions.

Still not sure if this will actually make us care about the Pro Bowl, let alone shell out for some of the few remaining tickets, but at least someone from the Fins got invited to the ball we're hosting.

Keep Miami New Times Free... Since we started Miami New Times, it has been defined as the free, independent voice of Miami, and we would like to keep it that way. Offering our readers free access to incisive coverage of local news, food and culture. Producing stories on everything from political scandals to the hottest new bands, with gutsy reporting, stylish writing, and staffers who've won everything from the Society of Professional Journalists' Sigma Delta Chi feature-writing award to the Casey Medal for Meritorious Journalism. But with local journalism's existence under siege and advertising revenue setbacks having a larger impact, it is important now more than ever for us to rally support behind funding our local journalism.
