Just before 10 p.m. last night, Miami-Dade cops discovered the body of a 23-year-old Hialeah woman in a vacant lot across from a $800,000 waterfront home in Biscayne Gardens.
Officers don’t know much about Nazelene Khan, the young woman, but court records show she was charged with vehicle theft and carjacking four times in the past five years. In her latest case — which closed three weeks ago — she was convicted and sentenced to probation. She was also busted for petite theft in 2007.
Owner of the waterfront home, a 25-year-old named Dietrick A. Holliday, did not immediately return calls seeking comment. (He has no criminal history in Miami-Dade.)
Khan lived in a small, $119,000 home with an oval-shaped pool home near Acaida Park. Officers are still investigating the cause of death.
