It has been a rough 24 hours for looksmaxxer-turned-alleged-crimemaxxer Clavicular.

After the streamer caused an uproar on X, the platform formerly known as Twitter, for shooting an (apparently) dead alligator in the Everglades, he was arrested in Fort Lauderdale for a completely unrelated incident in Osceola County.

The 20-year-old influencer, whose real name is Braden Peters, was taken into custody yesterday by the Fort Lauderdale police on a misdemeanor battery charge stemming from a February incident in Osceola County, according to Broward County jail records and an Osceola County Sheriff’s Office press release.

The Osceola County Sheriff’s Office says Clavicular, who is known for his “looksmaxxing” content like “bone smashing,” instigated a fight between two women inside his Kissimmee-area Airbnb on February 2 and posted it on social media to exploit them.

“A 19-year-old woman reported to deputies that she had been battered by 24-year-old Violet Marie Lentz,” the press release reads.

The police say that the streamer and Lentz did not come out of the residence to speak to deputies about the incident when they arrived at the house just after 4 a.m. that morning. Warrants were later issued for Clavicular and Lentz related to charges of misdemeanor battery and criminal conspiracy to commit battery. Lentz has not yet been arrested as detectives are still looking for her, the press release notes.

A clip from Clavicular’s stream, posted on X on February 3, appears to show Lentz attacking TikTok influencer Jenny Popach.

When news first broke of the 20-year-old’s arrest, people were quick to assume that the arrest stemmed from Thursday’s alligator incident in the Everglades.

A clip from his livestream shows him and another man on an airboat firing several shots at what appears to be a dead alligator lying in the water.

The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC) announced it is currently investigating after the clip went viral on social media on Thursday.

“The FWC is aware of a video depicting individuals in the Everglades on an airboat who appear to be discharging firearms at an alligator,” the agency wrote in a post on X. “FWC officers are looking into the incident and will provide additional information when available.”

Clavicular’s publicist Mitchell Jackson has not responded to New Times‘ request for comment.
