David Beckham finally formally announced what we all knew: he's bringing an MLS team to the city, with the condition that he find a location to build a stadium. Besides noting that the team would start play in either 2016 or 2017, we didn't get any more details.

A name? Nope, not mentioned.

Colors? Of course not.

A hint to where that stadium might be? Only if you consider that the place the announcement was made, the Perez Art Museum, happens to have a nice view of PortMiami, which is rumored to be a possible site.

Confirmation that LeBron James is somehow officially involved? No, King James didn't show up.

However, we did get confirmation that his investors include Simon Fuller, creater of the American Idol franchise and Miami-based billionaire Marcelo Claure.
