This year's International Dance Music Awards were announced earlier this week, and there are some 305 highlights worth noting:

First up, Space resident DJ Oscar G scored two nominations including Best House/Garage Track for "Back to You" and Best Full Length DJ Mix for the appropriately titled DJ (Nervous Records).

Also with two nominations is Mr. 305 himself, Pitbull. He is up for Best Latin/Reggaeton Track for "Hotel Room Service" and Best Rap/Hip-Hop Track for "I Know You Want Me (Calle Ocho).

Our local clubland is well represented in the Best US Club category with Space and Mansion both nominated for the award.

Finally, Ultra Music Festival finds itself facing some stiff competition for Best Music Event.

The IDMAs will take place this year on March 25, location TBA. Unfortunately, the only way to attend is if you are a WMC badge holder.
