Big news! Winter Music Conference is moving from its end of March week-long marathon -- usually, after SXSW -- to mid-March. We spoke to director of operations Kirk Pascal who said that the dates of March 8 to 12 at the Miami Beach Convention Center are locked down. The news was also confirmed in a press release sent out today.

How the news will affect Ultra's dates remains to be seen, although we received word that the news has caught several nightclubs, promoters, and artists off guard.

Stay tuned for further updates.

UPDATE: Ultra Music Festival will be taking place March 25 to 27, outside of the WMC dates.
