Win Two Tickets to See Phil Collins at the Fillmore Miami Beach

Lately something interesting has been happening in the world of Phil Collins. He's finally getting some goddamn respect.

See, for years it's been easy to take jabs at Mr. Collins. Why, exactly? Who knows. It was a weird mob mentality sort of thing that seemed to spread throughout the internet like dominoes. But, when Collins announced that he'd be coming out of retirement about a month ago, that all changed.

Since then, think pieces have flooded the internet, crying out in defense of the man who gave Tarzan a soundtrack.

There was this one from Salon. The Guardian got in their two cents. And our sister paper, L.A. Weekly, even weighed in on the matter, assuring us it was safe to drop the security blanket of Collins hatred.

And this is all good timing for us, because Phil Collins is coming to the Fillmore Miami Beach on March 11 for the Second Annual Little Dreams Foundation Benefit Gala. And we have two hot 'n' fresh tickets to give away to some lucky fans.

Here's how you can win:
  • Find us on Twitter at @NewTimes_Music.

  • Tweet at us the reason why you deserve the tickets with the hashtag #PhilCollinsMiami.

  • We're going to give you until Tuesday, December 1, to tweet at us. On Wednesday, December 2, we will Tweet at our lucky winner and let you know how to claim your prize.
