If you're not headed down to Thievery Corporation in Miami tonight, there's still plenty to hear in Broward and Palm Beach. Ben Prestage and Dex Romweber Duo are playing Propaganda tonight, Johnny Winter is playing The Culture Room, Ever So Klever is playing Poor House, and the battle of the local bands pits Supersam, Solaz, and Monte Rosa at The Talent Farm vs Forever The Martyr, Two Headed Shadow Puppet, The Natural Phunk, Armed for Innocence, and Only Right Left at Solid Sound Studios.

Tomorrow night, Big Head Todd and the Monsters are playing Seminole Casino in Coconut Creek, Albert Castiglia is tearing up Maguire's Hill 16, The Legendary JC's are playing Propaganda, Slip and the Spin Outs are playing Zoo Bar, and The Abstract Remedy is playing Swampgrass Willys.

Sunday Vega Under Fire, The Status, The Scenic, Bullets Over Broadway, and New City Lions are at The Talent Farm, and Midlife Crisis is playing Slainte Irish Pub.

Keep Miami New Times Free... Since we started Miami New Times, it has been defined as the free, independent voice of Miami, and we would like to keep it that way. Offering our readers free access to incisive coverage of local news, food and culture. Producing stories on everything from political scandals to the hottest new bands, with gutsy reporting, stylish writing, and staffers who've won everything from the Society of Professional Journalists' Sigma Delta Chi feature-writing award to the Casey Medal for Meritorious Journalism. But with local journalism's existence under siege and advertising revenue setbacks having a larger impact, it is important now more than ever for us to rally support behind funding our local journalism. You can help by participating in our "I Support" membership program, allowing us to keep covering Miami with no paywalls.
