Three months ago, we here at Crossfade were so, so, so stoked about our date at Macy's with Good Charlotte's Joel and Benji Madden that we wrote a blog about it.

We were gonna get some one-on-one time with the twins, an exclusive look at their Mad Picks clothing collection, a personal shopping experience, an autographed copy of their new Cardiology album, and maybe even a specially dedicated acoustic rendition of "Hold On."

But then Joel and Benji cancelled at the last minute. And we didn't hear from them for 92 days.

Honestly, we were getting pretty worried that the Good Charlotte boys were a couple of lying celebrity sleazoids who had absolutely no intention of every rescheduling our mall date.

But apparently, that was just our obsessive psycho side talking, because just today we got an email from the Madden Brothers basically saying: Wow, we're really sorry it took so long. But how does January 15 sound? There will be a sing-along, free hugs, and Good Charlotte download cards for everyone who spends more than $50 on Mad Picks swag. It's gonna be a pretty good time.

Ooohhh, Joel and Benji! See you at the mall!

Joel and Benji Madden. Saturday, January 15. Macy's Fashion Store at Aventura Mall, 19535 Biscayne Blvd., Miami. The meet-and-greet starts at 2 p.m. and it's free. Visit macys.com.
