Fans of indie rock band Turnover are in for an unforgettable experience when the quartet lands at Fort Lauderdale's Revolution Live on Monday, June 2. The band hits the road this spring to celebrate the tenth anniversary of its critically acclaimed and cult-favorite album Peripheral Vision, which will be performed in its entirety — a dream come true for longtime fans.
The announcement follows a flurry of excitement after initial dates in major cities like Los Angeles, New York, and Chicago sold out within minutes. Due to overwhelming demand, the band has expanded the tour to a whopping 38 dates, up from the original six announced in December. This massive addition ensures more fans across North America can be part of this once-in-a-lifetime event.
For the Fort Lauderdale stop, Turnover is teaming up with post-hardcore powerhouse Citizen, making the show a mid-2010s alt-rock fever dream. With Turnover's signature shoegaze sound and Citizen's emotive energy, attendees can expect a night of nostalgic vibes and cathartic performances.
Social media platforms like TikTok have played a significant role in introducing Peripheral Vision to a new generation. Its dreamy, melancholic soundscapes have found a resurgence in popularity among Gen Z, further cementing the album's legacy as a genre-defining masterpiece. Clips of tracks like "Cutting My Fingers Off" and "New Scream" have gone viral, introducing younger audiences to the album's timeless allure.
As the buzz continues to grow, this tour is shaping up to be a celebration of Peripheral Vision's impact on alternative music and a testament to its lasting influence.
Tickets are currently on presale for Citi card members. Tickets will be available to the general public starting Friday, January 17, at 10 a.m.
