The Pains of Being Pure at Heart at Grand Central June 12, Tickets Now On Sale

Last week, we announced West Palm Beach's Surfer Blood was returning to South Florida for a gig at Miami's Grand Central, but perhaps the more exciting news is who they are coming with. New York's The Pains of Being Pure at Heart have been making an idyllic noise-pop since 2007, easily winning over critics and fans alike with a multilayered sound that is highly irresistible. After a string of singles, the quartet finally released their self-titled full-length last year.

The tour also features New Englanders Hooray For Earth, another breezy rock-pop band that falls somewhere in sound between both bands. Memorable? Not really. Entertaining? We suppose.

Tickets are now on sale for $15 via; the show is 18 and over. For more information, make sure to check out or
