The Bamboo Kids

The Bamboo Kids, the latest New York band to work its way down to these swamps, blows into town on a wave of good press from The Village Voice, NY Press, and just about every Big Apple punk-rock scribe there is. That doesn't ensure that the Kids' brand of old-school punk pub rock is any good, of course, but it probably means they're capable of putting on an exciting show for a noisy, inebriated crowd. And what else could you want on a Friday night? Supporting them is a hefty roster of local big dogs, including Humbert, Bling Bling, and the Remnants, that'll surely entertain you whether the headliners rock or not.
