Ten Best Music-Related Things to Do in Miami This Weekend Under $10

We heard about Lil Wayne begging Drake to squash the beef between him and Chris Brown earlier this week, but there's still no word as to whether or not Drizzy's extended an olive branch.

Needless to say, if the New York City scuffle's really affecting Young Money's business that bad, the crew should rejoice in the fact that they're based in Miami, a city with plenty of budget balling options.

Beastie Boys Tribute Night. Friday, June 22, 6 p.m., Tobacco Road, 626 S. Miami Ave., Miami. Admission is $5 after 9 p.m. Miami's oldest bar pays tribute to the late Adam "MCA" Yauch and one of music's most revered groups, the Beastie Boys.

Acidosis, Warrick, and Others. Friday, June 22, 9 p.m., Churchill's Pub, 5501 NE Second Ave., Miami; 305-757-1807; churchillspub.com. Admission is $8. Thrash, get hammered, and toast the Miami Heat at Churchill's tonight.

Monkey Village. Friday, June 22, 10 p.m., PAX Miami, 337 SW Eighth St., Miami; 305 640-5847; paxmiami.com. Admission is $10. Members of some of Miami's most influential musical groups get together and guide you through "Monkey Jungle," a night of communal groove, rhythm and harmony.

Overtown Rhythm & Arts Festival. Saturday, June 23, 11 a.m., Da Dorsey Blvd, Miami; overtownfestival.com. Admission is free. R&B legend Freddie Jackson joins the Booker T Washington High School Marching Band, the Larry Dogg Band, and others at the second annual festival.

Kate Simko. Saturday, June 23, 323 23rd St., Miami Beach; 305-614-4478; treehousemiami.com. Admission is $10. The musicality in Kate Simko's electro tracks is second to none.

Space Between Words and The Crazy Carls. Saturday, June 23, 11 p.m., Bougainvillea's Old Florida Tavern, 7221 SW 58th Ave., South Miami; 305-669-8577; bougiesbar.com. Admission is free. Speed south down US-1, guzzle some beers, and get your indie-rock on with Space Between Words at Bougie's bar.

Unit Six Tour Kickoff. Saturday, June 23, 8 p.m., Churchill's Pub, 5501 NE Second Ave., Miami; 305-757-1807; churchillspub.com. Admission is $5. Unit Six has reunited and they're hitting the road. Best of all, they're kicking off the tour in the old stomping ground, Churchill's Pub.

Nil Lara. Saturday, June 23, 10 p.m., The Stage, 170 NE 38th St., Miami; 305-576-9577; thestagemiami.com. Miami based, Cuban-American singer-songwriter Nil Lara brings Latin American forklore to the stage.

Kulcha Shok Muzik Night. Sunday, June 24, Jazid, 1342 Washington Ave., Miami Beach; 305-673-9372; jazid.net. Admission is $10. Miami reggae superpower Jahfe' jam rocks Jazid.

Gorilla Rock and Punk Fest. Sunday, June 24, 8 p.m., Churchill's Pub, 5501 NE Second Ave., Miami; 305-757-1807; churchillspub.com. Admission is $8 with presale, $10 at the door. Sundays were meant for punk. Needless to say, show up and rage with your favorites at Churchill's.
