If you were hyped up to see Lil Wayne, Sean Kingston, and Trey Songz Saturday at the Miami Big Game Extravaganza at Jungle Island, sorry to break the news to you that the event has been canceled. According to the305.com, Jungle Island issued a press releasing stating that the weekend-long event has been scraped and the attraction will be open for regular business hours during the Super Bowl:
Unfortunately, the promoters for the Miami Big Game Extravaganza have not fulfilled their obligations and consequently the events scheduled for February 5-7, 2010 on Jungle Island have been canceled. As always, Jungle Island will be open every day this weekend from 10am until 6pm and will feature all of our animals, shows and exhibits for the public to enjoy.
Jungle Island was in no way involved with the ticket sales for these events. We recommend contacting the company from which the tickets were purchased.
Jungle Island, Public Relations Department
So, just to reiterate, don't contact Jungle Island for ticket refunds, the company you need to contact is the K & H Group, the organizers of the Big Game Extravaganza.
