For year-round residents of Miami, the difference between yuletide in December and Christmas in July is really just a matter of degrees. Say 76°F versus 86°F.
Wintertime is the eating season and Summertime is the mating season. The former means jeans and an ironic t-shirt while the latter means cutoffs and a tank top. During the cool months, we sit on St. Nick’s lap and ask for stuff. In the midst of a heatwave, we end up sucking face with Santa.
So yeah, just a matter of degrees. See the cut for ten pics from Treasure Fingers‘ Christmas in July.
