During a recent trip to Toronto, hip-hop elder statesman and born-again reggae artist Snoop Lion (formerly Snoop Dogg) was asked about the upcoming U.S. presidential election.

Snoop was in Canada promoting Reincarnated, a new documentary detailing the MC's transformation from rap world heavyweight to international reggae recording artist, when he endorsed POTUS for a second term.

"They need to give Obama four more years, man," the Lion told reporters at the Toronto International Film Festival. "I mean, Bush fucked up for eight years, so you gotta at least give [Obama] eight years."

Snoop argued that the country is better off with the current administration than it would be under the opposition. And he cited the killing of Osama Bin Laden, "the one that Bush couldn't seem to find," as one of the main reasons that voters should give President Obama another chance.

"Give him four years to get his thing together and finish his deal out," he said. "You heard what Clinton said. You loved Clinton, didn't you?"

Maybe the rasta gangsta's endorsement was even the start of his political career ... Snoop/Clinton 2016?
