Support the independent voice of Miami and help keep the future of New Times free.

From the moment you hit the flashy streets of SoBe, you know you're entering a wonderland of non-stop, liquor-flowing, celebrity-studded bashes.

The best part of it all? You don't even have to wait for the weekend to party like a Lil Jon-level crunk-rock star. It's no wonder this place is called the Magic City.

Check out Crossfade's six best parties on South Beach this week.

W&W. With DJ Mednas. Thursday, August 8, 11 p.m., LIV, 4441 Collins Ave., Miami Beach; 305-674-4680; livnightclub.com. Tickets cost $30-$50 plus fees via wantickets.com. Ages 21 and up. Get pumped up for W&W's "trouse," or as the DJ duo puts it in their bio, "uplifting and melodic elements of trance" fused with "the raw intensity of electro and progressiveness of house." Party hard.

Lil Jon. DJ set. Friday, August 9, 11 p.m., LIV, 4441 Collins Ave., Miami Beach; 305-674-4680; livnightclub.com. Tickets cost $40-$75 plus fees via wantickets.com. Ages 21 and up. Yeah, yeah! Hey! Wanna get your "Drink" on with Lil Jon? Then head over to LIV and get "real fucked up and motherfuckin' party!"

Hardwell. Go Home tour with Dannic and Dave Sol. Friday, August 9, 11 p.m., Story, 136 Collins Ave., Miami Beach; 305-538-2424; storymiami.com. Tickets cost $75-$90 plus fees via wantickets.com. Ages 21 and up. Once you enter the world of Hardwell, you'll "Never [Wanna] Say Goodbye" to his steamy EDM stuff.

Paul van Dyk. Friday, August 9, 11 p.m., Mansion, 1235 Washington Ave., Miami Beach; 305-695-8411; mansionmiami.com. Tickets cost $20-$30 plus fees via wantickets.com. Ages 21 and up. Hot dayum ... It's the Grammy-nominated "audio architect" Paul van Dyk. With his kind of club cred (like being named the World's No. 1 DJ by DJ Mag's Top 100 DJs Poll twice), chances are he'll be here for "Eternity."

Fur Coat. With ThunderPony. Saturday, August 10, 11 p.m., Story, 136 Collins Ave., Miami Beach; 305-538-2424; storymiami.com. Tickets cost $30-$40 plus fees via wantickets.com. Ages 21 and up. Much like a fur coat itself, this Venezuelan DJ combo is "a rare, one of a kind piece." So rare, they "just wanna make you high" with their subtle hits of uhntz-uhntz.

AN21. With DJ Mednas. Saturday, August 10, 11 p.m., LIV, 4441 Collins Ave., Miami Beach; 305-674-4680; livnightclub.com. Tickets cost $60-$75 plus fees via wantickets.com. Ages 21 and up. Get "Lost" in the deep, booming bass of AN21. Who says wandering is a bad thing?
