Once a band has had a song featured on a Mexican soap opera, it’s fair to say the group has accomplished all it could ever hope for. Which is why it’s nice that Latin pop duo Sin Bandera is still touring. Performing at the Jackie Gleason Theater on its Mañana tour, the band will be playing the soap opera hit “Entra en Mi Vida,” as well as other keyboard-lined love songs. Comprising Mexico’s Leonel García and Argentina’s Noel Schajris, Sin Bandera mixes Spanish lyrics with traditional pop, creating catchy melodies with a hint of salsa.
