Rosalía Adds Second Miami Date to Her Lux Tour

As music publications roll out their favorite albums of 2025, one late entrant has burned rubber to race its way to the top. Lux, the fourth studio album by Spanish singer Rosalía, and the long-anticipated follow-up to her career U-turn, Motomami, was released last month to widespread acclaim, garnering top marks from critics around the world, including five-star reviews from Rolling Stone and The Guardian. Now, Rosalía has announced she’ll bring her latest orchestral odyssey to Miami when she kicks off the U.S. leg of her Lux Tour at the Kaseya Center on Thursday, June 4, and as announced today, Saturday, June 6. The Miami shows are two of just 12 U.S. shows announced for the tour (though, as tour announcements go these days, high demand will likely yield more dates).

It’s perhaps somewhat unsurprising that Rosalía has priorititized South Florida as part of her latest jaunt. Our city has played a key role in her winding artistic rise from the beginning. She played her first show in town in March 2018, at Fundarte’s Flamenco Rave as part of her Los Ángeles Tour, in support of her debut album. By the time she played a private showcase at the Faena Miami Beach that December, she’d shape-shifted into the flamenco-pop chameleon the world got to know on her breakthrough El Mal Querer. Just eight months later, she played her first arena show in Miami as part of Spotify’s ¡Viva Latino! Live, this time leaning into the reggaeton songs that preceded her foray into the genre on 2022’s Motomami, which she brought to the stage in a headlining set at III Points that year.

Miami also played a key role in the creation of the ambitious, orchestral Lux. Recently, Rosalía told Apple Music host Zane Lowe that she camped out in Miami for a year during the album’s writing process, and she mentions fleeing the state on the album’s second track, “Reliquia” (“Como huí de Florida”). Her “Berghain” collaborator, Yves Tumor, played Silencio’s opening-night takeover at Basement just this week.
