If you were downtown Saturday night and saw a sea of Argentina or Lionel Messi jerseys, it wasn't because of an Inter Miami FC game or because the Argentina national team was in town. Instead, Duki, the Argentine rapper and singer-songwriter, headlined a concert at the Kaseya Center, bringing mosh pits, pyro, and a guest appearance to the arena.

While he did not sell out the venue entirely, Duki faced a fervent fan base that, without an opener, came to see him and him alone. He kicked off the show at around 9 p.m., opening with "Leitmotiv" from his latest studio album, 2024's genre-bending Ameri. Featuring tracks "Buscarte Lejos," "Hardaway," "Barro," and the Wiz Khalifa and Arcangel collaboration "Wake and Bakeup," the album spans trap, rap, and even a little bit of pop.

He played those newer tracks, but after about 30 minutes, he delved into the deeper cuts and older tracks the fans were most excited to hear. Those included his 2018 single, "Rockstar," and the song that introduced him to a wider audience, "Hablamos Mañana," from Bad Bunny's second solo studio album, YHLQMDLG. Other highlights included the Nigo and Peso Pluma collaboration "Alley Oop," released earlier this year, along with 2017's "Loca" and recent release, "Nena Sad."

Though he did not have an opener, Duki was accompanied onstage by a live band. That set him apart from the many trap artists and rappers who typically perform with backing tracks, which he eschewed entirely. Plentiful pyro and colorful stage effects heightened the spectacle. So did a guest appearance: Puerto Rican rapper and singer Jhayco hit the stage for a performance of the duo's 2023 collaboration, "Rockstar 2.0."

The crowd truly went wild during the encore, when Duki played his popular Bizarrap collaboration, "Malbec," and fan-favorite single "She Don't Give a Fo." The crowd chanted the titular refrain, and the mosh pits rivaled those at Travis Scott's Circus Maximus Tour appearance at Kaseya Center last year.

It wasn't a sold-out crowd, but it was a quality crowd. By the time the rapper closed with "Givenchy," fans were screaming and waving their shirts around. The music continued after the show, with fans engaging in freestyle battle raps outside the arena's gates in a scene straight out of a Red Bull Batalla.

Duki showed up and showed out at the Kaseya Center, and — whether inside the mosh pit or outside the gates — so did his fans.
