As any Deadhead will tell you, it hasn't been the same since Jerry Garcia checked out in 1995 for the big Mexican hat dance in the sky. But the rest of the boys -- Bob Weir, Mickey Hart, Phil Lesh, and Bill Kreutzmann -- though a touch grayer, are still going strong with the help of a few newbies, including songstress Joan Osborne. The caravan of old VW vans trailing the band across America has dwindled, but you can probably score a little inspiration when they play tunes like "Friend of the Devil" and "China Cat Sunflower."
