Emerging from the post-Sublime era, these two bands have been rocking it nonstop since the mid-Nineties. Pepper, the Volcom band from Hawaii, is receiving much-deserved acknowledgment through additional sponsorships from major corporations such as T-Mobile. Pepper’s vibe makes you want to dance your ass off, while heartbreaking lyrics remind you of the one who got away.
As for Slightly Stoopid, its first album, 1998’s The Longest Barrel Ride, is still blasting on beaches from here to San Diego (the hometown of these surf-punk prodigies).
