Are you ready for some further teaches of Peaches? The Canadian electro-indie sleaze provocateur is set to release her first record in over a decade in the near future and will promote it with a national tour, kicking off in Miami on February 20, 2026, at ZeyZey in Little Haiti.
The new album, No Lube So Rude, sounds like she’s up to her old tricks, mixing sexual innuendos with double entendres, all backed by block-rocking beats. In a press release shared with New Times, Peaches explains the tour and album title: “When the world is friction, lube isn’t a luxury. It’s a necessity. It’s how you turn that friction into pleasure, into power, into pride. I want people to understand that they can still have a voice, no matter who they are or what the world says about them. Now more than ever, there are so many forces that just want you to give up and be quiet. If this album can help you resist that, then that’s what it’s for.”
One single has already been released, titled “Not in Your Mouth None of Your Business,” which has the camera at an unconventional angle while Peaches sings and chows down on shellfish.
Last time Peaches played Miami was in Summer 2022 at the Ground where she limped onstage with the help of a walker, a pussy hat on her head and a skimpy one-piece bathing suit barely covering her body, before pulling a microphone out of her purse, yelling, “Miami, I want to party!” and kicked her walker across the stage rapping, “Motherfuckers want to get with me/Lay with me, love with me/All right.” She was a kinetic ball of energy over the course of that two-hour set, where she performed topless while reciting X-rated lyrics, stood on the palms of her adoring fans, and ended the night with a hammy rendition of Celine Dion’s “It’s All Coming Back to Me Now”.
