Paul Van Dyk vs. Madonna, Joins Elton John as Latest European to Shit on the "Material Girl"

Paul van Dyk has become the latest European to shit on Madonna.

In a recent interview with Deutsche Presse-Agentur the Berlin-based DJ and producer accused Madge of working well beyond her prime, suggesting that Madonna should've hung up her leotard nearly 15 years ago.

"I think she should have quit after her good Ray of Light album," van Dyk says, joining Elton John aboard the anti-Madonna campaign train.

"I have remixed a few of her songs, but in general I only work with people who inspire me and Madonna right now doesn't."

Oddly enough, this isn't van Dyk's first tiff with Madge, merely his most recent.

Earlier this year, van Dyk called Madonna's Ultra Music Festival appearance the "biggest mistake of her career," and criticized the pop singer's lack of judgment.

"Madonna was so stupid to actually call out drug abuse in front of a crowd of 18 year olds," he said. "This is not what our music is about. It's really counterproductive."

Online bullying, on the other hand ... It's overwhelmingly productive, right?
