Over the Weekend: Y100 Jingle Ball, Miami Music Festival and Wolfgang Gratner

The holiday season is already in full swing which means events around South Florida aren't hard to come by. So in case you were out shopping for ungrateful relatives, here is what you missed over the weekend:

Y100 Jingle Ball 2009 at BankAtlantic Center

Shakira, Jordin Sparks, Flo Rida and more took to the stage at the BankAtlantic Center for the annual Y100 Jingle Ball. The event was hosted by Leighton Meester and Adam Lambert. Click here to view the full slideshow.

Help Mend A Heart Benefit at Talent Farm

New Found Glory's Jordan Pundik mother, Maureen Waters, is in need of a heart transplant, so local bands came together at the Talent Farm in Pembroke Pines to raise money for Waters' surgery. Click here to view the full slideshow.

Wolfgang Gratner at Mansion

Miami Music Festival 2009

Plenty of reports came in about the Miami Music Festival and how disorganized it was. It also lacked in uniting the local music scene by leaving out some key venues and players. Still there were some bright spots including sets by Stonefox and Music Is A Weapon. Click here to view the full slideshow.
