We are seriously sorry for the previously omitted "On the List," but last weekend in our book qualified as a bust -- there was absolutely nothing worth doing. If you were smart, you picked up a book or something of educational value. There was also that darn Ike. Everyone was freaking out but it missed us by a long shot, which is great because instead of partying this weekend, we'd be crying for ice and water. However, our neighbors in the Caribbean weren't so lucky. If you are looking to help, how about donating to the American Red Cross? Imagine how much better you'll feel helping those in desperate need for aid than dropping $300 a $40 bottle of Grey Goose. It warms our icy cold hearts just thinking about it.

Did you donate? Good! Now here is what you have to look forward to this weekend:

You already know how excited we are that L.A. Riots is coming to the Vagabond (30 NE 11th Street, Miami) tomorrow night. So we don't need to tell you to get your asses there. Can't make it to the Miami apperance? No problem. The duo will be at Respectable Street (518 Clematis Street, West Palm Beach) on Saturday.

GrooveJet is back! Er, well sort of. Sorry to get your hopes up, but Shine at Shelborne (1801 Collins Avenue, Miami Beach) hopes to bring back the GrooveJet nostalgia with it's reunion party tomorrow. London DJs Dave Seaman and Mick Wilson will be on the decks to brings the sound that will please the old school South Beach set.

In case you are feeling a little more literary, White Room's (1306 N Miami Avenue, Miami) Fracture party hosts the official after party for Irvine Welsh's Crime book release at Books & Books in Coral Gables. DJ Cosmo will be spinning. And best of all, open bar from midnight to 1 a.m.

Feel like the earth needs a little saving? Stop by Earthdance at SoHo Studios (2136 NW First Avenue, Miami) Saturday. Local DJs like Carmel Ophir, Tom Grizzle, Ray Milian, Mike Deuce and many more will be spinning, with featured performances by ¡MAYDAY!, Kingsley, Agape, Locos Por Juana and more.

Saturday night is also Wynwood's Art Walk, which means Poplife will be doing its Popart party at White Room (1306 N Miami Avenue, Miami). Experimental indie pop act Mount Eerie will be performing along with Oakland, California, band Why?

For the beach dwellers, Mansion (1235 Washington Avenue, Miami Beach) will have the sounds of progressive trance DJ Markus Schulz, who calls the Magic City home but is nothing short of a Berliner.
