On the List - Aquabooty, Shine, Fedde Le Grand and Damian Lazarus

Last weekend was a busy one, but there is still plenty of momentum going in the nightlife scene to keep things going. The highlight this weekend of course being the reopening of the Fontainebleau Miami Beach. In case you've been hiding under a rock, the hotel is celebrating its reopening with a party to end all party and the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show, starring the VS Angels. Buzz is invitations are harder to come by than a hill in Miami.

No worries though, plenty of other things to do if an invitation escapes you:

The Vagabond has introduced a new Thursday night party called Shake. We held off writing about this because we wanted to see if it actually had some longevity, but word on the street is that the party is not to be missed. Jose El Rey plays host as old school hip-hop and Miami classics blast from the speakers. And this weekend, it's going to be extra special as El Rey celebrate his birthday Miami-style with plenty of Miami booty bass and Cuban food to go around.

Tomorrow night, perennial progressive house party Aquabooty turns 9. The party has seen many homes -- most recently Nocturnal, Glass and Pawn Shop -- but it still keeps putting on some of the city's best events. To celebrate this milestone, they've book DJ Marques Wyatt along DHM at The King Is Dead.

Somebody else is celebrating a birthday this weekend too. Shelborne hotspot Shine turns 3 on Saturday Friday. Jon Cowan, Junior O and Major will all be there to kick the party into high gear.

Put your hands up Miami because Dutch DJ/producer Fedde le Grand is spinning at Mansion Saturday night. If you missed his party during WMC, now is your opportunity to make up for it. Check out our Q&A with le Grand to get to know the man behind the turntables.

How do they do it? The Safe crew once again scores another amazing booking when it brings Damian Lazarus to Circa 28. The minimal techno and house DJ is known for introducing the masses to some pretty underground stuff. Tickets for the event are $15 via Wantickets.com.

Little Louie Vega starts his bi-monthly residency at The Vagabond this Saturday at Back Door Bamby. He is no stranger to the venue and should feel right at home on Saturday when the crowds expect to hear some classic house tracks.

And finally, LA hipster-hop duo LMFAO perform at Karu & Y on Saturday. The party is hosted by former Danity Kane member/full-time party girl Aubrey O'Day. We also got to interview the duo, so make sure to check it out.
