Earlier today, Nicki Minaj announced 14 North American dates for her worldwide summer tour in support of new album Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded.
"When I 1st started this shit there were a few cities/states I'd play ALL the time. Always showed luv," she tweeted. "Rlly wanted to get u guys for summer."
While some fans are blowing up Ms. Minaj's newly re-activated Twitter account all boo-hooing about being left out in the cold, she's coming to get sunny with us at the James L. Knight Center on Tuesday, July 24.
Clearly, the Miami show is going to be the best show. We've got Drake and Lil Wayne in our hood. What's the chance one or both of them will hit the stage to join "the female Weezy"?
It totally could and should happen. They could be up there, rappin' it up about beez and Barbies! They could be making it rain Pepsi and Mountain Dew on the frenzied crowd! They could have a rap battle to see who can make the weirdest noises with their mouth!
Either way, knowing Ms. Minaj, it should be a spectacle. And because it's Roman Reloaded, there should be plenty of angry alter-ego rampaging. Or we want our money back.
