Munchi at Grand Central Miami June 9

Miami should be all about moombahton. We love lazy Latin rhythms, reggaeton swagger, booming bass, and killer house beats. And moombahton's got it all. It's loud, colorful, and sexy. Just like us!

Now check it out: Munchi, the young Dominican DJ-producer and new member of Diplo's Mad Decent crew, will lay down a special night of moombah mayhem at Grand Central this Saturday. And he'll be joined by local boys Mike Deuce, GTA's JWLS, and Atrasolis.

The Munchi story: He put some tunes together a couple of years ago and sent them to moombahton inventor Dave Nada, who was totally impressed. And from that moment, the young Dominican's productions became a staple of moombah compilations, eventually landing him a spot on Diplo's label.

Every time he steps behind the decks, Munchi brings real heat to his tracks, adding a certain scorching heaviness to the funky, hip-shaking vibe that's made the genre famous. Call it moombahcore, tropical bass, whatever. This is raving and raging music.

So no doubt it's gonna be a hard night with lots of bass and tons of babes. Just play your cards right, dance till dawn, and you'll probably get

lucky. 'Cause Miami loves booty beats.
