True house music aficionados (myself included) who attended the
Electric Pickle’s WMC parties in March got a superlative taste of the
new venue’s quality underground deep house bookings and are doubtlessly
hungry for more. With its intimate space, dark sultry ambiance, and
rapturously superior sound system, the Pickle is an ideal venue for
these sensual and soul-swaying sounds, and a much needed respite from
Miami’s predictable dance music scene.
If the deepness is your thing, you won’t want to miss tonight’s
DJ set by critically-acclaimed Frankfurt deep house duo Motorcitysoul.
With their well-received album “Technique” out last October and a
compelling series of remixes on various esteemed house
labels, including Freerange and Simple, these guys are at the forefront
of Europe’s current deep tech house revival. Check them out tonight
along with Boogie resident DJs Will Renuart and Strickly B.
