Sir Kelly!
TGIF...well, almost. Thursday is the new Friday anyway and we know all our loyal Miamians are dying to get their party panties wet with joy. This week's nightlife roundup brings a little something for the hobnobbers, the rump-shakers, and the fist-pumpers.

Moonchine Hosts the Grand Opening of 71 Tonight
This Mimo District favorite is adding an adjacent music room, 71, to its Asian bistro oasis. Expect a new weekly lineup of events like karaoke and Latin night, as well as rotating live acts and DJs. Thursday's hooray will feature an open bar from 9 p.m. to 11 p.m. and a live art show in the garden. Sanedrachunter and resident DJ Solomar will be handling sounds, while WVUM 90.5 will broadcast live during Basement Sessions.

Bodegon de Brickell Opening This Friday
The buzz in Brickell continues with the opening of Bodegon, located in the Four Ambassadors Hotel. Bodegon is the Spanish term for "tavern" and the venue hopes to combine its tapas-style cuisine with live entertainment. Friday's opening will feature complimentary cocktails and hors d'oeuvres from 9 p.m. to midnight. The shindig will be hosted by Fabulous Miami and requires RSVP at [email protected].

Gerry Kelly's Annual Studio 54 Party at Lux This Saturday
Sir Gerry Kelly is the master of nightlife musical chairs. Before it got shut down by Gulfstream Management, Kelly was the head honcho of mega club MI-VI. And so, he's now caught up in a major legal battle. But the show must go on, and what better way to do so than exploring the blow-heavy disco era at Lux. Take it as a Halloween warm up.

Coco De Ville Closing for Renovations
This little lounge who won New Times' 2010 "Best VIP Room" is taking a quick hiatus to add some new touches and patch up some old. The new look will feature murals and photography from local artists, as well as an update on lighting and flooring. A representative from Coco's marketing department stated that the changes were going for an overall "warmer and homier" ambiance. No exact word when Coco will reopen, but expect a new lineup of weekly events, including Thursdays to Saturdays and Mondays. (C'est la vie, Favela Chic lovers.)

Louis's New Monday Night Party, "Fortress"
Monday nights have a new home thanks to Headliner Market Group, which debuted its new Fortress party this past Monday. The group is also responsible for Imagine Sunday Nights at LIV  and Headliner Friday Nights at Play. This is Louis' first real attempt at a hip-hop driven night, so we're curious to see how Miami responds. Expect music by Headliner's Stevie J and potential celebrity appearances.
