Tonight, the Moksha fam presents "art that transcends time" by international practitioners like Chief Leonard Crowdog Jr., Michael Divine, and Layla Love -- not to mention a whole tribe of excellent locals including Reinier Gamboa, Robert Aura Freitag, and Babba Trips.

On Thursday, Prof. Torres will lecture. Oh, and there's gonna be "a panel discussion about the cultural impact of enthogens in art," "a special indigenous blessing ceremony that will bring together a selection of tribal cultures," and "a presentation by Daniel Pinchbeck, author of Breaking Open The Mind: A Psychedelic Journey Into The Heart of Contemporary Shamanism."

Whoooaaa, right?

But it is Saturday evening when eagles and condors shall meet. And we will all fly like beaked creatures with a ten-foot wingspan.

That's the "Closing Celebration," a transcendental pan-sensory powow, co-starring a 25-act musical roster headed by Asheville, North Carolina tribal psych outfit Toubab Krewe alongside notable SoFla bands such as Sounduo, Elastic Bond, and Beatmachines.

"It's always been a very diverse lineup, very international," Spam All Stars' Jose Elias, Moksha's music and entertainment organizer, says. "For 2012, though, there's still a lot of global flavor, just on a more modern tip.

"There are a lot of bands that are blending folkloric musical traditions with the electronic. We've always had folk and tribal and DJs.

"But now it's all about that fusion!"
