This year, one of Miami's best (and most free) 4th of July celebrations comes a day earlier. This Saturday, you will be able to enjoy some good ol' barbecue and local beer from Concrete Beach, all smothered in the rich musical sauce of Zach Deputy.

Hailing from Savannah, Georgia, Zach Deputy is part one man band, part blues master. Deputy, who released an album earlier this year called Keep on Movin', is an extremely talented singer/songwriter who follows in the footsteps of musicians like Jack Johnson and Amos Lee. Miami's own Robby Hunter of Magic City Hippies will be warming up the night with a very special DJ set. It's all going to be like that traditional Independence Day barbecue at your folks' house — except better in every way imaginable.

Feel free to bring the kids to Wynwood Yard this Saturday, but this is sure to be a heavily-attended event, so make sure to RSVP in the link below and show up early.

BBQ & Chill with Zach Deputy. 3 p.m. Sunday, July 3, at the Wynwood Yard, 56 NW 29th St., Miami; 305-447-8678; thewynwoodyard.com; Free admission; RSVP via eventbrite.com.
