Miami typically draws big name DJs and producers to monster nightclubs LIV, Story, and the like. Every so often, however, Bardot and its cozy surroundings also manage to pull in some world class acts, and this Saturday the Carpet plays host to none other than Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs.

Orlando Tobias Edward Higginbottom, the London-born electro, house, and jungle artist with an equally long stage name he usually abbreviates to TEED, has been quiet of late on the record-making front. However, TEED has been making the rounds in clubs, focusing on DJ sets and globe-trotting with gigs across Europe, Mexico, and the United States and occasionally dropping Spotify playlists for his fans. The living room setting of Bardot seems ideal for his current enterprise.

The late night chill vibe he aspires to has supplanted his former live shows that were a bit more raucous. Namely, TEED was a festival mainstay, and at mega events such as Glastonbury or Lollapalooza, he would spend his nights in exotic headdresses grooving alongside dancing girls. In other words, he knows how to party and put on a show, two skills Miami will always appreciate.

More or Less presents: Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs. 10 p.m. Saturday, June 11, at Bardot, 3456 N. Miami Ave., Miami; 305-576-5570; bardotmiami.com. Tickets cost $15 via residentadvisor.net.
