Maynard James Keenan Appearing in Miami and Boca in June ... at Whole Foods

Obsessive followers of Maynard James Keenan -- the elusive brains behind Tool, A Perfect Circle, and Puscifer -- know that beyond Bill Hicks and artsy heavy music, his other passion is wine. Indeed, recent magazine profiles on Keenan have usually found him in rural Arizona, where he lives on a remote ranch and runs Merkin Vineyards and Caduceus Cellars.

To promote winemaking in the arid region southwest of Arizona, he's hitting the road in a decidedly un-rock-and-roll tour with fellow vintner Eric Glomski, of Page Spring Cellars. Together they own Arizona Stronghold Vineyards, an 80-acre site dedicated to producing affordable wines in the state.

As such, they'll be signing bottles at several Whole Foods stores, four in Florida. They'll  first appear in South Florida at the South Miami location of the chain (6701 Red Rd., Coral Gables) on Tuesday, June 9 from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. The next day they'll be at the Boca location (1400 Glades Rd.) at the same time.
